Rooney was a board & train dog with very high energy and low engagement/focus. This is a look at his first place session. I am using the ecollar on low numbers to layer it over the behavior. This helps teach him what the ecollar means and how to properly respond to it.

During the first place session, I am not looking for long duraton or perfect behavior. I just want to introduce to concept of the place bed and the fact that it has boundaries. I also start pairing the release word “break” to teach him that he needs to wait to be released and I will let him know when that is.
